The Point
El Segundo, CA
The Point has a really cool vibe with organic restaurants and high-end retail. The center is built around a shared outdoor experience with Kiosk cafés in the courtyard area. The project was started in 2014 and completed in 2015. The site contained contaminated soils which made it challenging for field personnel to install 18,500 lf (3.5 miles) of trench, which included two Cudo storm water systems and 10 modular wetlands. With many last-minute plan/design and field coordination changes due to the spectacular fountains and extensive landscape and lighting, the courtyard became the focus towards the end meaning major crunch time, big time! The Snyder Langston team and their skilled trade partners pulled it all together to meet the deadlines while producing a beautiful finished product.
