When Aldi decided to move to the west coast with their grocery stores, they needed a headquarters and major distribution center. Delta Pipeline was 1 of 3 wet utility contractors that braved the very stringent interview process with Graycor Construction and was awarded the project. The pre-construction engagement and commitment to the schedule for this 835,000-sf building on 52 acres would give Delta crews a challenge. With over 4 miles of pipeline and a deep bore under a creek, it took many crews less than 10 months to bring this successful project to a close. Aldi has continued to expand their west coast grocery operations and Delta is proud to be part of building the hub with an exceptional Graycor team.
