Massi has been involved in the construction industry since 2009 and has excelled along his way to becoming very successful in the field of underground pipeline wet utilities. Prior to his employment with Delta Pipeline, Inc., he had the opportunity to work for a general contractor for a year and for the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering for four months. His desire to learn and grow has allowed him to continually become a better individual and respected Delta team member.
Massi began learning about civil and construction engineering at California State University of Long Beach, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering and Management in 2011. Right out of college he started his career at Delta Pipeline, Inc. as a Project Engineer. With determination and focus, he was promoted to Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager and eventually Senior Project Manager. Massi has completed the Delta Pipeline University (DPU) field training and leadership training programs. His hard work and commitment to better himself has been an asset to the company and afforded him greater opportunities to manage higher level projects and to teach DPU along with other instructors. Recently, Delta Pipeline transitioned to an employee owned company and Massi was elected as a member of the Board of Directors. He was also selected as a member of the Audit and ESOP Committees, as well as the company’s six-person Leadership Team.
Massi was fortunate to have the opportunity to live in and travel to many countries as a young man, which he feels has helped him to better communicate with people from different backgrounds and different perspectives. Those years also shaped who he is as an individual by giving him a better understanding of various cultures and societies throughout the world. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family and friends, traveling, working-out, listening to music, and being in nature. His passion is to help and support people to learn, grow, and make a difference in their lives.
