Samuel first became interested in construction during his college years. His father and older brother, both construction workers, introduced him to the many opportunities’ construction work had to offer.

Soon after Samuel graduated from Cal State University, Dominguez Hills, he began working alongside his father as a laborer for a grading subcontracting company. It was during that time when Delta Pipeline captured his attention and he recognized the many possibilities the company could offer him. He knew he wanted to become a member of their team and decided to apply.

In March of 2015, Samuel started his career at Delta Pipeline as a Pipelayer Helper. He not only enjoyed learning from his mentors and colleagues, but he also built strong relationships with them. After a year of hard work in the field and learning invaluable skills while attending Delta Pipeline University, Samuel was offered a position in the office as an entry level Project Coordinator. His dedication to the position paid off and he was promoted to Project Engineer, an important role in managing Delta’s ongoing construction projects.

When he is not hard at work, Samuel spends his time hiking in nature. He enjoys visiting and camping at National Parks as Geology has always been one of his greatest passions. He also enjoys reading books about nature and wildlife.
